Alabama Veteran Safe Haven operates through two complementary entities working side by side to serve veterans with excellence and expand reach through community support.
Our VA-contracted residential facility in Montgomery — providing 24/7 Safe Haven housing, Long-Term Care Placement, and on-site supportive services. As a for-profit entity, we contract with the VA and government agencies to fund direct care for veterans who need it most.
Vivienda, Inc. is our IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm — expanding what the facility alone cannot fund: the Clothing Closet, community outreach, peer support, and emergency assistance for veterans outside VA eligibility. Donations are fully tax-deductible.
